It depends. I find I think best with a pencil in my hand but I have a fair amount of muscle memory built up with the Intuos. I have the best digital linework results with a medium neutral tone set to multiply so I can build it up but I keep trying new things.

Clip studio paint + Gaomon vs Photoshop + Wacom intuos.
I prefer CSP and I absolute love the Gaomon tablet, the sensitivity of the pen is superior to Wacom.

I was going to buy a cheap Wacom display tablet out there but after trying a tab s7+, I noticed it felt no different than drawing on my $79.99 intuos. It'll just be a waste of money for me at this point, so I bought CSP ex instead and plan on making comics as well.

I've been testing my new Wacom One and comparing it to Wacom Intuos. My conclusion? Wacom One is better for sketches and lineart while Wacom Intuos is better for coloring and shading.

I currently use a Gaomon PD 1560. Before that, I used an older model of the Wacom Intuos. I definitely prefer my newer tablet. It's easier to draw when you're not looking at your monitor instead of your hand. 🖤
