Today is #InternationalWomansDay2023 and while we celebrate all the outstanding women in the world we should take note of some trailblazers like #MaryRobinson Ireland’s first women President. Seen here in my #CollegeGreen digital print
It’s #bookreleaseday for #SaintPatrickTheForgiver from @ivpkids ! In this book I combine Patrick’s famous “Confessio” with some of the legends (and a wee bit of #saintpatricksbreastplate ) along with my #linocut illustrations to tell the tale of Ireland’s famous saint. ☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️
Roderic O’Conor(1860-1940) is probably Ireland’s greatest modern artist & there are a number of his works represented. The gallery has recently begun to promote him. He was a post impressionist & friend of Gaugin
Illustrators Ireland’s ‘Bookworm’ group show continues at the United Arts Club in Dublin till the 5th of Feb.
