This is not a straightforward Alexander biography -- it's about how we've perceived him as a historical figure AND literary character since 300 CE: a hero in the cultures he encountered and the faiths (Christian, Jewish, Islamic, Zoroastrian) that follow.

One wonders why there doesn't seem to be a bit more appreciation and focus on these styles of art. Personally I would love to see more creations inspired by angelic/divine representations, whether its Islamic, Hindu, Buddhist, Native American, Celtic or spiritualistic.
