Had a blast of a time making my I always wanted to create my own worlds in art but kept going into my comfort zone of portraits, this challenge really pulled me out comfort zone and I actually managed to make 2 landscapes!

here is my entry for the contest!
it was pretty challenging but i had a lot of fun. the concept was inspired by the psychedelic animated film ‘yellow submarine’ (1968)
i’m happy with how the colors turned out. hope y’all like it :]

I feel like it's too bright but....
Besides that,
I wanted the white area be a symbol for where all the colors reside; when the white area brightens?( Beams?) It sends the color out, filling in everything.

I did lot of screen shotting and eventually use a total of 150 photos for this piece. AND for the color I choose the most use color that jazza use’s in his works. and

An 8-bit twist
took the pixelation that my program made when i imported the lineart and rolled with it. kept the saturated colours that i tend to associate with the 80s-90s and such =]
