4 games that shaped your love of JRPGs.

Sticking to games we played as a kid/teen. https://t.co/HxCO8gOyr6

If you really think JRPGs haven’t evolved past FF1 and that even stuff like Persona 5 is “just ff1 with extra steps”, then you truly don’t know anything about JRPGs. https://t.co/aJWhrCJTEd

I'm pretty excited about my isekai series "The title of hero belongs to a Kobold?!"

I think it's a super interesting idea to have a series where the setting somewhat is inspired by D&D over JRPGs. It's a nice change of pace I think.

I am proud fan of Psx JRPGs. Many years ago I spent all my freetime just drawing and playing with these jewels.
If possible I will try to keep doing fanarts about this almost forgotten games.. Suikoden, Wild arms, Valkyrie Profile, Alundra...
Who else loves feena?

I'm Azrael, and I love creating OCs and writing them into high fantasy/sci-fi worlds inspired by JRPGs. Sometimes the occasional fanart will pop up, too.
Nice to meet you!

Trials of Mana will forever be one of my favourite JRPGs. It's a whimsical adventure that's charmingly confident in its Dragon Quest-esque overtones and its creative, contrasting character themes. yet another Square Enix hidden gem

I do The Final Boss's Son Loves the Protagonist, a very sweet queer love story heavily influenced by my favorite JRPGs. It's currently ongoing on Webtoons and in the middle of the second chapter

I'm a babiniku vtuber named Hitomi. Just starting out pretty recently so I'm a bit new to vtubing in general. No crazy backstory except I love all kinds of video games, mostly retro, fighters, and JRPGs. I also love Nintendo games

Auron FFX and Dunban XBC are 2 of the coolest dudes in jrpgs.
Slightly older mentors with a permanently injured arm and cool big swords who still keep up with and advise the chosen heroes with Godlike power through sheer grit and experience. Plus the familial connections too.

They just want shorter JRPGs. Whatever.

Suikoden 2 is the industry standard when it comes to excellent story telling in JRPGs. If you haven't experienced this journey you really need to do so!

La segunda mitad de 2022 va a ser BRUTALÍSIMA para los amantes de los JRPGs. Square Enix nos va a tener bien servidos 🤩

Cid is the main character type in that reflects Sakaguchi's attention to older characters.

Many years have passed since the first Cid, in Final Fantasy II (1988), and old characters are still missing from the main characters of JRPGs. https://t.co/nsWFxxXWCO

現在のコミッションを終えたら、古いJRPGについて絵を描きたいと思います。
これらのゲームのファンはまだいますか? それとも僕だけですか?

When I finish my current commission I would like to do some drawing on old jrpgs.
Are there still fans of these games? or am I the only one?

nope SE are the undisputed king of JRPGs. Three of the top 5 best-selling JRPGs are SE titles. Also, 19 of their franchises make up the best-selling franchise list. would love to see a different company challenge the throne, tho
