I recently replayed KQ4 and decided to take another stab at redesigning Edgar, because he is a SWEET BOY who deserves to look good! I combined his looks from KQ4 and KQ7, because while the KQ7 design is better I’ve never liked the color scheme.

The initial '88 SCI0 release of KQ4 has separate scenes for the day/night cycle. Whereas the '89 version only include a single background and use overlays/sprites to change the appearance to save space.

Palette swapping is not leveraged at all for the early-gen SCI0 games.

Actually, it seems some of the pages ARE aspect-corrected. Like this shot of KQ4. In this shot of LSL2 however it shows square pixels. Same problem with this shot of SQ3. So it's wildly inconsistent throughout the book. And pages that show multiple pics like FPFP are wrong too.
