Kizmel and Argo are the best tbh.
Having them active in the plot just makes everything more unique and full of life. They're all very strong as characters even when their arcs are looked at alone as Kizmel's humanity grows & as we peer into Argo's secrets.

So the Elf War and Laughing Coffin subplots are pretty much merged at this point, so if A1 has to adapt any more of Progressive then Reki has to finish another 2 or at least 1 novel probably.

As per usual, the growing relationship between Asuna and Kirito as well as their companion Kizmel was very compelling.
I have a hard time seeing how they'll get separated at this point lol given this retcon is making their relationship too strong too early.

The one downside was no Kizmel but it is what it is. Some things are necessary. But at least we got a good chunk of Argo. Gotta love the rat tbh

While this novel does skim over the Elf Quest line with Kizmel, I find that understandable so that they could focus on the Laughing Coffin subplot.
This map was basically built for easy PKing. Scary thought.

As always, everything regarding Kizmel and the Dark elves has been engaging. The world and lore just keeps growing and leaves me wanting for even more.
Never complete without its fair share of Kizmel teasing 👀

I will say that Kizmel was a great addition to the cast.
She was a great means in world building for SAO that I'd never known until this point.
The mysterious NPC that seemingly acted very life-like added a lot of flavor to the dynamic between the main group.

The Grand Bath reminded Asuna of the luxurious bath in the Floor 7 casino with Argo, Nirrnir and Kizmel. Asuna also remembered Kizmel's prank in the bath. Asuna suddenly felt pain run from her back to her chest and forcefully corked up her memories of those days.

This manga doesn't cover everything and just the first 3 floors but oh my god does this wash everything in season 1. TE AMO KIRITO, ASUNA, ARGO, KIZMEL ETC. Also the art is amazing, the comedy is great and those last few chapters are so RAWWWWWW.
