Elizabeth Gaskell was buried in Knutsford 1865 - here's a picture I took of her grave. Her life often mirrored Anne Bronte's. Elizabeth's mother, Elizabeth Holland, died when she was just a year old, and this clergyman's daughter was then raised by her mother's sister.
