TIL that Pokemon had a Jiangshi.
Kyonpan was the name; a ghost type panda.
However, they decided to scrap the design...

Which is why I angrily decided to draw it and give it an evo while at it >:'v

I’m angriest over Kyonpan, we needed more ghost types in gen 2

Norowara and Kyonpan. a very interesting evolutive line. Norowara is a voodoo doll and could have given a lot of play to the curse movement, and Pangshi is a kind of panda bear with a little paper where he writes wishes.

One of the strangest evolutionary lines in Pokémon history. Norowara evolves into Kyonpan at lv. 1(!?); half their moves differ (Kyonpan is more physical). Norowara is the only 'mon who learns Nail (Curse), and it learns it at lv. 100, when it can no longer evolve!
