Pillar training.
I guess Kyoujurou and Obanai trained together as children and as demon slayers, too. Imaging the pillars training together it must be so impressive 😱

The day Kyoujurou goes to the final selection must be awful for Obanai. When Kyoujurou comes back he sneaks up to Obani, throws his cape over his shoulder and whispers "I'm home".
(Pls ignore that Kyou looks like a creep, because I can't draw lol)
