Been sick with sore throat and light cold this week.
Slowly recovering while trying to understand colors and cleaning linework.
Hence all I have to share is old work which took way too much time which I thankfully had back then.
I finally finished the linework, now onto coloring
Every single grass type pokemon
like for example thunderb0lt or rebellion 083, they have minimal tones shading but their lineworks always pops out
maybe I need to be less sterile with lineart like making it more doodly.
My gripes on my own linework is, they look too digital-clean :(
I think my biggest hurdle is with the lineart.
With that kind of textured linework, some colors gets to bleed out the lineart and it became visible on dark background
dunno how they deal with that
@MushMush__ Man, I can learn so much from this. Very good linework and anatomy... But more importantly :
I tried something vaguely resembling clean linework last night, I kinda like it but idk if I should actually go any further with this or just stick with how I normally draw
designing a tattoo and remembering how BORING doing clean linework is 😔🚬
39/40
1 more to do then im done with me linework _(:3]<)_
Sometimes it feels like I'm not improving my art at all but comparing to a 2020 piece made me feel better ;w;
Do any of ya'll have thoughts like this too?
I still have a soft spot for my older work but it's just interesting to compare rendering, linework, etc!
If I fuck this up with cleaning I'll give up clean linework forever for real this time
