You'll notice many of my sonas down the line are dogs, which is common for people, but where as that unoriginality bothered me with my prior characters, with Loach is never did. Loach is a Rat Terrier. The very first dog and the only breed I've ever had.

Loach is able to balance my aesthetic of simple, comfortable colors, and bright popping pastels that I've always loved but never been able to express, while also being able to have that dark/gothic aesthetic I have for myself. She's just perfect for me.

Saw a tweet earlier that said that Dondozo is "literally just Whiscash" but then proceeded to say that they could have taken inspiration much better with the amount of real-world animals there are.

Dondozo is based off of a Wels Catfish; Whiscash a loach catfish.😒
