Day 8: The magical item I want is from The Twelve by — the Coppice Comb! It causes trees to sprout around you, protecting you from danger. (But I want to point out that there are many amazing treasures in this book series.)

Day 6 of - I could not put down Show Me a Sign by . Historical fiction is not typically a favorite genre of mine but Mary's story and learning the history captivated me. I can't wait for my library hold of Set Me Free to come to my local branch!

A middle-grade book I couldn’t put down. Xan is a memorable character, and the prose is beautiful.

Ahh... I forgot the first days of Day 6: Share a book that you couldn't put down: WHILE I WAS AWAY, 's memoir of spending five months in 1980s Japan, immersed in Japanese school and dealing with new friends and a difficult grandmother.

Day 6 of I literally read STARFISH in one sitting. I didn't move, I didn't get up to use the bathroom, nothing. Couldn't put it down. I still can't believe that captured the very real experiences so many of us lived through so perfectly.

Day 3. I really loved Endor College, the creepy school of witchcraft in The Little Broomstick by Mary Stewart, which was of the books that inspired my upcoming Spell Sweeper. (It's school, btw, is called Dragonsong Academy.) 🐉🎶

Day 30—this prompt made me realize there are a ton of books that I've read that have been made into movies that I haven't seen. But this is one that is the opposite: THE NEVERENDING STORY.

I think Boots, Gregor’s little sister from The Underland Chronicles series, deserves to be the star of her own book.

Day 24: I wish I could visit ’s Willow Cove (especially considering it’s almost Halloween) or ’s Esperance (who wouldn’t want to visit a magical Venice-like city)!
