I've been feeling nostalgic lately and I NEVER get nostalgic
Here's a page I drew when I was hoping to springboard into the next volume of MIRENDA after the graphic novel came out
@EmmettComix La Colera by Javier Olivares and Santiago Garcia, Mirenda by Grim Wilkins are both visual feasts of exploring storytelling and the medium.
Once in a while I get asked if I'm going to make more MIRENDA, and the answer is... maybe!
I have the second and "final" book plotted out, I just don't have time or funding to make it 💰💰
I found time to draw a few pages, though
Today is the third anniversary of my graphic novel MIRENDA hitting shelves!
To celebrate I finally made available the few remaining Hardcover copies that I put together when the book was released (link below)
I still love this book
@EastinDeverna @grimwilkins I got Grim art before it was cool to get Grim art, and it's definitely cool to get Grim art! Look at these goodies from 2014 or so. And I have a Mirenda page too. Thanks again Grim!
I guess I missed the #faceyourlandscape hashtag, but here are a few favorites from my comic book MIRENDA
If you buy a copy then maybe @ImageComics will let me publish the next volume! Maybe!
I drew a little Idyl homage on the cave walls in this MIRENDA page, along with some Yoshitoshi, Beksinksi, Masami Teroaka
TBT when I finished drawing the first volume of MIRENDA about a year and a half ago I got straight to work on the next issue, but only got to finish this one page before I had to work on other projects
(There's a 90% chance I'm going to draw new MIRENDA this summer 🍸🍸)
At ECCC someone dressed as Nausicaa was looking through MIRENDA and I noticed that they happened to be looking at this page
Also, one of the most illegible pages I've made yet 🍸🍸
A handful of my favorite pages from my book MIRENDA
I think the Towergators might come back in the next volume 🐊🐊
One of my favorite sequences from my book MIRENDA, in stores now from @ImageComics 🍸🍸
Now that MIRENDA Vol. 1 is in stores, I can share the first page of the next book 🍸🍸
This MIRENDA page was the third comic page I ever digitally colored. The first two were these pages I drew for Prophet Strikefil

Hiroshi Yoshida prints have had a tremendous influence on my comic book coloring

Here are a few pages from my forthcoming MIRENDA graphic novel, coming this Halloween from @ImageComics ! 👻👻
