Many of her critics were quick to say what they perceived as wrong (this bird-killing spider was in fact true) rather than focus on all the scientific value & pure wonder.

So that new Barbara Walker Crossing footbridge across Burnside is pretty sweet! Almost exactly 3 miles to jog there from Lower Macleay Park in Northwest PDX. (As the elevation map reveals, it was a LOT more fun running back.)
