#Marshosaurus bicentisimus, the forgotten theropod of the Morrison Formation! The Morrison has multiple large theropods, but we also have a more slender, mid-size predator in there that doesn't get a lot of love! #paleoart #dinosaur #theropod #Jurassic
Piatnitzkysaurus was a medium-sized Carnosaurian theropod from the Early Jurassic of Argentina. It was a close relative of Marshosaurus; for which skull elements are mostly based on here. These animals, known as Piatnitzkysaurids, were lithe predators with robust forelimbs.
Marshosaurus portrait lineart with shadows and colors. Done for my commission chart. If you want a prehistoric or fictional creature (including Skull island fauna, hehe) in this style, look at my price-list and write to me. 🙂
Unfortunately I don't have new art for #MorrisonFormationWeek, but here are some older works. Torvosaurus tanneri, Allosaurus fragilis, and Marshosaurus and Ornitholestes with their prey items.

WIPs of an old piece of a Marshosaurus and a bunch of Tanycolagreus (?) sharing different roles in eating a carcass of a Camptosaurus. The Marsho has opened it up, and the Tanys are like "yesss, soft entrails!!"
