Although I had considered shortening Marissa's tail at one point I ultimately decided against it.

I think she looks better with a long tail and striped skunks have longer tails most of the time.

I imagine some mammalians have hair nets to cover their tails while cooking.

Some of the better Alter events come from characters gaining something new as opposed to being set dressing for someone else's story. Thorns has always had this odd relationship with Iberia, growing up poor, then under the guidance of someone who is ultimately a threat.
