Had a go at some designs with Y11s yesterday. I also printed design for colouring in. We do need to improve on out compass skills🙈 They had a go despite it being their last day.

I was in awe when David Wade shared this Moroccan pattern at https://t.co/77rNKPUZll, and had to attempt to reconstruct it just by looking at the picture (hence a couple of inaccuracies). I might construct it by hand if I get the courage.

My experiments have gone a little bit sideways. Here are some knotted experiments using my new custom tools. These are all made from only three different tiles!

A busy day today after having an offer accepted on a property at the end of the week and having a call about our honeymoon plans for next year. So something simple with colours and ‘clouds’ based on Japan and cherry blossom 😊
