Anyways it’s a megafauna bio-computer planet on a bit of an exaggerated level, need to retool this fella a fair bit (fairly old art) but it’s essentially a fleshy computer virus that works kinda like a bacteriophage as a good example

I did this piece awhile back to demonstrate the influence of extinct megafauna on plants, this one is eating a melon so bitter It could only be tolerated by mastodons. The domestication of cucubits in North America is really fascinating. Looking forward to next week's podcast!

Muskox (Ovibos moschatus) are a species of bovid native to the Arctic. They’ve been here a while: muskox are one of North America’s few surviving Pleistocene megafauna.

Many wild Cucubrits, gourd family, are very bitter and toxic with tough rinds to ward off most herbivores except megafauna like Mastodons who's large size allowed them to tolerate the toxins. These proboscideans became an important seed disperser for many plants up to 10,000 ya

A level 1-10 epic adventure w/ a decidedly paleolithic vibe, centering around a mammoth herding hunter gatherer tribe, you'll push on through lands filled with dinosaurs and megafauna as you seek to reclaim a powerful relic of your tribes past and save your people

Again, one of the best things about supporting artists on Patreon is sometimes getting art in return. :)

This is Barylambda. Basically the first (?) mammalian megafauna after the extinction of the Dinosaurs. I love it. Worth every penny! ^^

Thanks !

All the megafauna adopts I've done in so far. Is there a species you'd like to see? :)

why do people draw hell pigs like that... when you look at their skull it looks so much like a hippo's. Let megafauna be fat

(9/12) The role of the giant adjutants in their ecosystems are likely as megafauna scavengers, much like the extant Marabou Stork. The extent to which they actively foraged on smaller animals is an open question, as is the size of their potential quarry.

S'what it looked like back when I was little. Now it just has buildings and junk on it. I should petition to the Royal Canadian Mint that our next set of bills feature Canadian megafauna!

In this week's episode we champion the success of Komodo dragons during a time period where most megafauna have gone extinct.
