I've never heard this mentioned anywhere: did Takara specifically choose these three guns for their Pre-Transformer MicroChange Gun-Robo toyline because each one belongs to a Lupin III cast member? Walther P-38 (Lupin), Magnum (Jigen), Browning (Fujiko)

My favorite blue mini-bot is "Bumper", or the MicroChange Family 1500X G.
I guess he could be yellow, red, or blue, but you know....
