thankfully that changed and there are more spaces for these stories nowadays, however the queerness in shoujo and josei is still present and i'd dare to say some of the best stories of their genre are being published on these demographics

@sukoshi_kaze My stuff as animated series would be more appropriate on streaming services (I'd personally say Hulu as best?). The SciFi brainstorm is teen-young adult oriented and the Fantasy brainstorm has elements more intended for preteen-teen demographics that cable might not like to show.

It all feels more like an ill-conceived trolling and less like a legitimate attempt to expand readership demographics.

Or some people taking advantage of editorial being asleep at the wheel and/or too underpaid to give a shit.
