On this day (27 Feb, 1712), at the age of 68, Emperor Bahadur Shah died at Lahore.

In my opinion, he was the last great Mughal, who like his ancestors, spent majority of his reign accustomed to a mobile tent life, gaining victory after victory in the military & political field.
