Day 54: An arrangement of tilted squares. I like the repeating obtuse kites! I think I could continue this pattern a few more times.
#The100DayProject #MyGeometryCommunity
Day 53: A simple construction that I was amazed I hadn’t done before! I love the repeated similar triangles in this design. How many different types of triangles are there?
#The100DayProject #MyGeometryCommunity
Day 52: I’m finding designs with threefold symmetry difficult. This one is a bit of a cheat. It really has six fold symmetry until it’s coloured in!
#The100DayProject #MyGeometryCommunity
Day 49: A bold design in Purple. I think I could’ve left it with out the small claw parts in the corners but I wondered if it looked too plain without the addition.
#The100DayProject #MyGeometryCommunity
Day 48: A Green design, sticking with the threefold theme. There are many stars to fine in this design.
#The100DayProject #MyGeometryCommunity
Day 47: Another three fold design. This one in orange. I like the kites and darts. Like many of the design the centre space is a star.
#The100DayProject #MyGeometryCommunity
Day 45: Rings of kites making up stars. This one has similarities to day 38 and also day 4.
#The100DayProject #MyGeometryCommunity
Day 43: I’m delving into threefold symmetry. Some lovely hexagons in this design. And some sneaky rhombuses.
#The100DayProject #MyGeometryCommunity
Day 42: Some 6 fold symmetry in orange. Some interesting negative spaces in this one! I used the mid point tool quite a bit in this. I like the slender kites that make up the central star.
#The100DayProject #MyGeometryCommunity
Day 40: Another piece with four fold symmetry. I love the eight pointed star that fits into the square, such lovely proportions.
#The100DayProject #MyGeometryCommunity
Day 37: I made this a couple of days ago but haven’t had a minute to post it!
#The100DayProject #MyGeometryCommunity
Day 35: Along with the regular triangles, squares and hexagons these rectangles have come up a few times in my designs. They have a lovely ratio of side lengths. Can you figure out the ratio?
#The100DayProject #MyGeometryCommunity
Day 34:I’m still finding new patterns and designs within the 12 point circle. Who knew a simple prompt could provide this much inspiration!
#The100DayProject #MyGeometryCommunity
Day 33: I played around with this one a bit more! Maybe too much?
#The100DayProject #MyGeometryCommunity
Day 32: Another rosette. Between this one and the pink one what’s the same and what’s different?
#The100DayProject #MyGeometryCommunity
Day 31: Following on from the spiky red design I decided that I want to explore some more rosettes here is one version. Still quite pointy!
#The100DayProject #MyGeometryCommunity
Day 30: A many layered star design. Despite having six points this construction is based on three overlapping squares.
#The100DayProject #MyGeometryCommunity
Day 29: here is today’s piece. Still a little behind, I’ll post two on some days to catch up!! Here I have explored a 12 point rosette. It’s super spiky!!
#The100DayProject #MyGeometryCommunity
Day 28: I meant to post this yesterday! This is the first one I have made that doesn’t have strict reflectional symmetry. I like the multitude of overlapping triangles in this design. How many triangles can you see?

Day 27: Another one today to catch up a little bit! Still finding new patterns in this structure! I will move on when I’m ready but not yet!
