The 1923 book celebrating Franklin’s arrival in Phildelphia was designed by WAD, but lots of others had a hand in the production, too. Including the great N. C. Wyeth, who painted the frontispiece.

N.C. WYETH's influence is undeniable. I think one of the reasons is because his work had broad appeal. The unsophisticated simplicity of his figures and strong compositions do much to pull the viewer into the story.
