Eric Bloodaxe
From as young as 12 Eric began raiding and pillaging along the Baltic coasts. Eric became king of Norway after the death of his father and had four brothers slain in attempt to retain the crown. He was later ousted by his brother Haakon and fled to rule Northumbria.
