Because Autumn Mountain is a very Japanese-inspired area, I thought it would be cool to have some Yokai-style NPCs. The Fat Spike is actually a reference to the OG Paper Mario with its Fat Guy.

Next on we have that one DJ Toad from the Temple of Shrooms, DJ Smooth Shroom.

Wanted to go for a very exaggerated 80s DJ kind of look, with the afro-hair and the lanky boots. He's also got darker skinned because I just like the idea of darker skinned toads

Next on the list, we have Professor Toad, A.K.A. Timothy Greyson.

Judging by his dialogue, Tim comes off as an older, more dignified toad so I thought going for a Toadsworth look would fit well.

His spots are tanned and he has a mustache to signify age.
