The Otoroshi, a fearsome guardian of shrines and gateways. Despite their menacing demeanor, they rarely attack people and only target the wicked. In a fight, an otoroshi will jump to and from tall structures while tearing away at its foes.

Otoroshi are yokai with blue or orange skin, messy long hair, and long fangs and talons. Although they may appear "scary" like their name originates from, they guard shrines and diet on small animals and wicked people.
