# painting art oilpainting landscape

Well this was a surprise! Tried a 'serious painting' with oils. It was awful (because I suck at serious painting, and oils) so messed around with it using acrylics, chopstick, blunt kitchen knife and a wonderful sense of nonsense. Ta daaaaaa!

I'm addicted to painting! The hesitation at the beginning, the joy of the unknown outcome, the fierce concentration on detail or the furious splashy explosion of expression, I love it all! And I really love that it doesn't have to be perfect.
