The Filth #10: there’s a lot going on in this issue but you can say that for most of this book. our main character here, Max Thunderstone, is a pretty cynical reading of superheroes as a concept, and that doesn’t work out well for him. #ParaPersonality
The Filth #9: this issue had some absolutely fantastic art, even relative to the rest of this series, which is really saying something. some of the splashes here — nixonsphere, giant hand — could have looked so ridiculous without an artist this good #ParaPersonality
The Filth #8: some truly excellent set pieces in this issue, which explains a little more of our concept, delivers a conflict with the big bad (I think?), and ends in a place that has me totally guessing at what is coming next #ParaPersonality
The Filth #6: this issue is sort of two stories, or really the action-heavy end of last story for half of it and then another half a comic detailing the fallout and adding some new complications (and questions) for our lead character. #ParaPersonality
The Filth #5: This one is about a pornstar who is apparently an anti-person. Anyway, the bad guy (Tex Porneau) somehow turns his spunk gigantic and it starts flying around smashing through women. That’s it. That’s what happens in this one. #ParaPersonality
