Day 10 of is “Lantern.” This was a bit more of a challenge for me because I wanted to make an accurate shape of a cube. I did my best. Old art teacher please approve this post. 😅

Day 5 - Bow. I debated which meaning of "bow" to use, because there are so many interesting directions. Bow and arrow? Something tied up? The bowing deer of Nara? Started thinking about characters and, this idea of a kid grouchy about wearing a hairbow appeared.

Day 2 - Dandelion. I ❤️ language, esp. etymology. I assumed the "lion" bit was describing the flower, but no! Dandelion comes from French for "lion's teeth", because of the jagged leaves. In French, they're "pissenlit" ("wet the bed") b/c they're a diuretic!

Day 1 - Cave. Excited to finally share all of the stuff I've been making for this month! 🍑 I almost never do landscapes, but this ended up being really meditative and enjoyable.
