One thing I LOVE about digital art is the ability to play with color variations. I fall deeper in love with digital mediums every day. I think I officially prefer digital over acrylic or oil sticks now. I would have never thunk it but here I am.

Recently I found faster tools for doing the same process, using Photoshop and even Photomosh's light distribution meshes. It creates a height map from the image which you can use to pull it out into an extra dimension

Stage III was breaking up the figurative result using glitch effects, mainly photoshop and photomosh. This is where I switched to a mirrored composition and then broke up the symmetry using distortions and then horizontal and vertical pixel sorting separately

With almost all of my work I start with a photograph I have taken, often of flow artists dancing with LED lights. Then will process the photo through some custom p5js code, as below, sometimes extra post adjustment in lightroom/PS, use photomosh pro for the kaleidoscope effect.

Got to try out something pretty neat this time around. Used Photomosh for the effects and then combined the gifs
