When you're a pollinator by trade, you can't be afraid to get a little messy.

The third and final image in March's Patreon palette trio is based on a Red Angel Trumpet, a plant whose nectar is poisonous to humans but irresistible to hummingbirds (and fairies, of course).

Climate change, habitat degradation, and agriculture are all driving the ecological emergency.

We must work harder to shine a light on the plight of pollinators—and act now to reverse their decline.

“Nooo!! Wasps are mean and scary!!”

“Silly human. Wasps are an integral part of the ecosystem. Not only do they protect plants by predating on pests— they are also a key pollinator, just like honeybees”

Just as we enjoy a drink or a paddle to cool off– so do our birds, hedgehogs & pollinators. Simple actions, such as providing fresh, clean water & shade can make a huge difference to wildlife.

For 🦔 in particular, make sure to leave small bowls of water and meaty pet foods out!
