One of my favorite thing in comics... are villain's pub.
Villain are still people, and they need a place where relax, play and even relief the anger in a positive way with a bartender.
Thinking of this I immediately imagined Monarch trying to flirt with Oc.

The Leprechaun is over 1000 yrs old, there was a ‘sighting’ in 1989 by a pub landlord called P.J O’Hare in Carlingford, County Louth. O’Hare says he heard screams from a well & found the remains of a Leprechaun which is on display in his pub.

People talking about Anderson's critics as 'snobs' 'elitists' etc. Let me help you out here, he's a good old fashioned TWAT. You'll find someone like him in any pub. Here's 30p Lee for 's

An old pencil crayon piece from a few years back for the first Gwelf book. This really captures the fun cozy world I wanted to create which of course will be threatened by evil forces from the outside world. Still, I would like to retire there and drink ale in that pub.

Spitfire sure does like her booze, but I also imagine her "suffering" through lonely evenings/nights at the pub...she deserves some company 💚💜

New blog! Laura Deal writes movingly about a beach at the end of a lone road in Iqaluit, Nunavut where she would walk her big sheep dog Lottie––a place that inspired her picture book THE UGLY PLACE, illus. by and pub. by .
