Later TRPG's area great examples, where dioramas almost universally build houses into hillsides, while trees brush against cliffs or overhang pools or pits.

If you ignore the texturing, these maps are very qbert-esque, but it's hidden by local detail so it doesn't look forced!

guy that jumps out of water and sometimes a spiky ball comes out instead, gachapon guy who can hop up platforms like qbert and can also be in a gachapon segment, guy who emits light in dark rooms and you can bubble and push around for mobile light source, guy who bounces you back
