In my experience, it’s so easy to think that when your course of completes you’re in the home straight. Then, boom, along come side effects our crystal balls didn’t highlight.

It’s important to stick to the regimen + take on board lots of water & avoid spices.

Although S given radiotherapy when he attended for his planning scan (I think), the 5 days a wk for 5 wks radiotherapy course starts today. He's understandably trepidatious (reflected in his mood swings) and I hope he'll cope

Hope all goes well with the rest of your treatment. Had mastectomy, chemo & radiotherapy myself.

Be prepared to feel more tired after a few sessions, so pace yourself again.
Skin will start to feel hot & you'll need to apply suitable cream or aloe vera gel.
