I guess to specify you have to break the eye, not just tap it Usually her hair is protecting it, but yeah if it breaks she can't do any of this or heal at all until that eye reassembles. Which takes a really long time.

It began as a ZBrush sculpt which was then rendered several different ways before heavy paintover & comp in Photoshop, then in to Aftereffects to make it dissolve and reassemble. The displaced/glassy effect represents the screens we all stare at all day.
