There is a way to channel your love for the redwolves. Tell WSH to give us another canine for a mascot. A K9! (military dog). They do military service. They are a rank above their handler. German Shepherd as the model. Dog breed never used in sports. Shorthand can be K9s.

In 2012, U of North Dakota was forced to retire the "Fighting Sioux". They ended up with no name and was just called "U of North Dakota". Did they keep it? No. After 3 years, they got a new nickname, the "Fighting Hawks".
Their no-name was temporary. Just like WFT.

That.....doesn't make sense. The other 31 teams are football teams as well. The name has endeared itself because we are stuck with it. Say a name you hate over and over again and you will get used to it too. Not like it, but used to it.

People claim my Redwolves logo looks too juvenile, for AFL/college/high school, whatever. But I think if a team can say yes to this lazy Rams logo, they will have no problem with this wolf logo. LOL

I think if WSH is going to keep its team colors, they should also add a new one. And Blood orange works best against Burgundy and Gold (and old burgundy).
