The Angle X turn is always the hardest to get right, so I always recommend redlining over yer first pass and maybe even usin' a liquify tool in an art program to adjust the model image to help out yer eye.

Doing some redlining.

Do realise the pose in the middle is quite off, so if I was to continue it I should redo it with a ref. So decided to pose some 3D models into the ideal pose. Does need work still.

How do I separate the dragon from the background? How do I fix drowning the character? Anything else?

I love the artist very much but that left foot does look like it's at a very uncomfortable angle. Not very good at redlining but hopefully this illustrates the point.
