@barkovaka Hi, sweethearts)
I like to imagine what the heroines of myths and legends might look like nowadays. This is “Valkyrie” and a modern version of Rembrandt's famous “Danaë”

On this beautiful Sunday morning, here's Rembrandt's 'Man In a Turban' (1632), on display at the #MetMuseum. It's a very telling study of how gold reflects even the smallest amount of light, much as gilded details on statues would have done in antiquity. @TheFrameBlogMag
This painting would say agony and acceptance even if we knew nothing about Rembrandt's life, the success followed by bankruptcy and, by this time in 1669, at the age of 63, the deaths of almost everyone he loved; his son Titus predeceased him in this same year. @MetaRembrandt
Rembrandt's tenacity to stick to his words and create a masterpiece without needing approval from anyone else is the sign of a powerful #artist🖼️

Hey there! 😍
There is no better way to find inspiration than looking at classic paintings. So, this is my adaptation of Rembrandt's angel, which you can see at many of his works.
Thanks @MetaRembrandt &
@BurtonesqueNFTs for this cool contest.

Rembrandt's art inspires me by the contrasting combination of light and shadow🥰

Stoked to announce I've become the latest ambassador of the @MetaRembrandt project 🤯💯❤️
I love their mission to bring together the whole catalogue of Rembrandt's art to the Metaverse for everyone to enjoy and I'm glad to be onboard! 😍🥳
More to come! #MetaRembrandt 🚀
I did this art test for a future project. Wanted slideshow-style cutscenes. Requirements: 1) quick to make, 2) allows me to portray characters/enviros/objects, 3) doesn't look terrible.
Decided to go with something inspired by Rembrandt's sketches. I think it fills the reqs!😄
2/2 Rembrandt's mother. Apparently also beloved by Sebastian Stosskopf.
A dash of Rembrandt here as the angel leaves the family of Tobit: a beautiful scene by Rembrandt's pupil Jan Victors. It's been his day today.
June 5, 1922: Rembrandt's "St. Paul in Prison" is stolen from the Staatsgalerie in Stuttgart, Germany. The artwork, one of the Old Master's earliest paintings dating to 1627, is later recovered. (Baltimore Sun)
The "writing on the wall" described in Daniel Chapter 5 v5-29 appears to be projected from a mirror or lantern, informing King Belshazzar that he has been found wanting.
This makes Rembrandt's painting one of the first ‘Phantasmagorias. https://t.co/yAGgYn9Apg

Heads Of Meat is effectively the Dub Be Good To Me of 50's Soho degenerate expressionism. Bacon adapted Diego Velazquez's Portrait Of Pope Innocent X from 1650.
The meat hanging around Bacon's Pope was probably a nod to Rembrandt's Carcass Of Beef (1657)
Study of Rembrandt's "The Man with the Golden Helmet" turned into fanart of the warrior from #loophero 🤺✨
