To think that animation is a lesser medium of entertainment is just an absurd and ignorant way thinking. The amount of time and commitment every one of the staff put in to their is immeasurable and it show through out the whole scene.

Animators work their butt off to make art. It takes time, talent, and a lot of creative effort to make either a short film or a feature film. Dont treat the art form as a digital babysitter. Its more than that and 'kids stuff'. Respect it.

It High time Hollywood and the General public know that animation is NOT A SINGLE GENRE, but a medium for everyone to enjoy no matter what. Animation can tell any story. The fact we have to explain this YET AGAIN IS FRUSTRATING.

Animation of all kinds (Cartoons, Anime, etc.) should be recognized to tell just as much story and messages as movies, music, and any other medium. Fullmetal Alchemist is one of those in particular cause of all the philosophies involved and much more.
