3d monarchs and besties i have a question, would yall retopo this whole body as one object or break it down into parts? i retopo'ed scarf separately but i'm lost on where to start with the rest as all of the elemets are asymmetrical

Trying an app for sculpting, ngl colouring in the app SUCKKSS so i’ll just use the app to scalp and transfer it to maya or something to retopo and colour

Bit of an update on this, hopefully, tomorrow I'll be able to call the upper body done so I can move to the arms, legs, and the cape and start retopology.

More retopology. En route to 7500 triangles though which honestly wouldn't be the end of the world if I cant keep it in Quest Excellent range. Quest Good grants me access to Physbones at least and I could up-res some parts of him a bit

Started Sawyer's model today. I swear, this boi's hair is the only thing ever that is going to make me use the sculpt tool and then retopo the whole hair, its so weird 😭 (Not in a bad way, but still how the fu)

Their sculpt is just-about done. Began retopology of the main body + hands.

For now, shooting for Quest Excellent in terms of polycount - so 7,500 triangles max preferred. At 2,529 so far it's encouraging and I hope the topology withstands animation as it is.
