My tribute to

"When you feel for others
your inner light will SHINE
in the way that you're smiling,
because you are so KIND ...
and your sweetest of feelings
will always be seen
on your bright smiley face
like the softest MOONBEAM" - Suzy Davies

Winding down our inspiring books for 3-7 year olds, we’d be remiss not to use to shout out the power of fiction, via titles like Matilda:

“These books gave Matilda a hopeful and comforting message: You are not alone.”

Happy everyone! Along with Terrance Dicks Roald was my introduction to reading, his wonderfully twisted, dark sense of humour instilled a passion for the written word that’s lasted all my life. Fantastic Mr Fox is still in my all time top ten.

Happy everyone.
Can you remember when you first read your favourite Dahl book? I distinctly remember reading Matilda for the first time and loving her adventure. Also, George and his Marvellous Medicine, such a great story!!
