The main reason is: reducing printing costs. A lot of printers only give options to print either in Color or Monochrome (black and white). If you paint with gray, you have to print it in color which is going to cost WAY more than just printing in monochrome.

Actually, I have carpal tunnel syndrome.
My teacher said, "From now on, you have to learn how to survive by using a dull knife without a blade."
After that
I learned how to draw with my arms and fingers
So my drawing style has changed a lot compared to the past
