Birb with hat, #septempera throwback of the day.
Lil' rodent, today's #septempera throwback 🐭
Skunk from a couple of years ago, probably my best year of #septempera
My favorite little painting from last year's #septempera, and a close-up to the background bear, which I think is my best bear to date.
We're a few weeks away from September and that means #septempera! I'm trying to figure out how I wanna approach it this year to keep it low pressure but consistent 🤔
These are from past years: 2017 to 2020

I've added three #septempera prints to my shop! Check them out: https://t.co/kuISSLlUW2
Let me know if you have any requests for other prints you'd like! 😊
So after #septempera, I might continue into a bit of #gouachetober if I can find some time 😅
I hope you enjoyed these little painted critters!

I still wish I could have painted at least one larger/ more complex #septempera piece though. Maybe next month! 🧙♀️

Recap thread: September is not totally over yet but I'm gonna call my 2020 #septempera done!
I made 12 tiny animal paintings (around 7-8 cm per side) in watercolor+gouache. Not a full month by any means but more than I expected!

My arm is giving me trouble today so I'll have to press pause on #septempera for a bit. Here's a little monkey as a throwback instead!
Black cat for good luck! Day 9 of #septempera.
A bit of Sunday painting! Bear cubs for day 8 of #septempera.

Floating hats are great because they don't mess up your hair. Or your feathers.
Day 7 of #septempera: you can never go wrong with a squirrel 🐿 🐿 🐿
Day 6 of #septempera. The book is always red.
Got overly ambitious with this one for the size, but maybe I'll make a bigger painting out of it later.
Technically it's day 2 of #septempera so I painted a little beaver at @fpiatti's request and got caught up. But I must warn you that this level of commitment will likely not last for very long! There's comic pages to finish and they're calling... 😁
