A nice subtle detail is that White has 2 sets of teeth, like standard. Implying hollow elements coating a Shinigami frame.
Where as, once stabalised in Ichigo, Full Hollow form is shown with a single set of teeth. Signifying a 'Full' fusion; as intended. 👌🏽

This brings back memories. When the Bleach manga was ongoing, I was convinced Kubo's original plan was to have all the Visored step up during the 2nd wave of the Quincy Invasion. Allowing Kisuke more time to develop the hollow pills etc. Could've been so raw.

Really cool seeing Ichigo trying to pace himself. Planning is an underrated extension of his battle sense. Others may go all out for the best odds but he tries to conserve what he can. Playing the long game. An extention of his mentality that he 'has' to win. Period.

This art is so clean. No real lines indicating the movement of the sword but by the positioning of the enemy, their arms & the broken axe shards, I can clearly trace & imagine the action depicted. 👌🏽

Literally this but throughout SS Arc. From the start we knew something was very different about Ichigo. One of many reasons SS is one of my favourite arcs period is that everything was explained & added up, as much as it didn't feel like it should've at first glance.

Really cool how pieces were laid out for retrospect.
We knew Gin would be there before he arrived as Kira was there.
Hisagi's presence likely hinted this wasn't a Squad3 zone.
Also Kaname Gin link teased.

This was a cool Orihime moment. Maintained a barrier between them & the cleaner, pushing them out safely. Then releases the barrier to reform on the ground & catch them. She only has 1 & thus did this consciously.. She may doubt her worth but we can clearly see it.

I really liked her design, personality & the little snippets of her relationship with Yoruichi that we got. Hoping to get more during potential future projects. Conversations with Ishin, Kazui, a more informed Ichigo etc.

From memory I think Yoruichi said this place was made by Kisuke when they were young. If not I'll correct myself as I reread. But Tessai was also there as they grew up & his reaction here feels like he too was involved. Cool to note given his prior job title.

This foreshadowing wasn't even subtle at all. The Manga really made you suspect something about Kisuke from the start & throughout Soul Society Arc. Making Aizen's comments about his true intentions later on feel that much more sinister..
