True as well.
It might just be a legit misunderstanding on when Starfire was created (since the animeted show was made in 2003), but there is definitely something wrong with this weird Widespread Belief that Starfire was based on Naomi Campbell, instead of showgirls of the 80s🙄

I watched the Showgirls documentary You Don’t Nomi, and the most interesting part for me is when they show the clip of Nomi Projectile vomiting, alongside clips from about 6 other Paul Verhoeven films where women throw up.

It made me reflect on my own recent creative output.
