I was going to paint this in acrylic, but decided to make an oil sketch instead. I will probably paint this pig twice; a large version and this smaller one. I don’t usually paint on a dark ground. I usually scrub in raw umber or burnt sienna. I’m experimenting.

New year, new OC, I think. Here's the first draft of Yua, the younger sister of Celeste. She's a soft-spoken and gentle soul who tries to take after her mother, Sienna. Celeste finds it hard not to spoil her when they spend time together.
