FB just reminded me I rekindled my fire for #makingcomics about 10 years ago. I'd been noodling the idea for Velocidad in sketchbooks, but made an ashcan preview in time for a small local show. It made me stick to drawing every week, and I haven't stopped drawing comics since.

I keep all of my sketchbooks, mostly for posterity's sake, but every time I look in one I cringe. Instead of seeing how much I've improved I just see how much I used to suck.
