Untitled (A side street in #NorthEastSomerset). 2021. Duncan Ball #watercolourpainting. A shady scene from a well-established & early suburb, the light source & fading perspective convey the relaxed atmosphere & section of a longer road.

Kiddie Christmas Story time at Wells (Somerset) Library on Monday 23rd. Come and join us!
I’ve long admired the Shell posters from the 20/30s, illustrated by an impressive list of celebrated artists. This one (on display @HauserWirth Somerset) is by Denis Constanduros; whose artistic career was relatively short, before he turned to screenwriting for TV and radio.
