@vodk_anon I've always wondered how much of an impact it would've made if the argentines had a better air superiority fighter, considering how well they did with 0 air cover, I read the soviets had offered MiG-23s but Argentina had refused them to remain western alligned.

I don't think anything encapsulates nonsense of Soviet-era, than lethal, highly invasive Sosnowskyi hogweed (Баршчэўнік/barszcz). Imported from Caucas by Soviets as silage & hedgerow in 1947, spread like wildfire in Ukraine, Belarus, Poland & Baltics posing threat to life.
